Book Two in the Consolation Duet

I fell in love with Liam only to be left shattered into a million pieces. Again. The idea of being without him cripples me but the reality is, he’s gone.

He doesn’t understand and I can’t make him.

If only he’d see the conviction behind my words—then he’d still be here.

I have just finished reading the first four books from The Salvation Series and am blown away by the intensity of the storyline, the family like bond of the characters and the passionate love that was displayed! Well done and keep up the phenomenal writing!! Now, I am off to read the fifth book! 😉

Corrine Michaels left us hanging at the end of Consolation, the first part of Natalie (Lee) and Liam's explosive love story...Conviction completes that story. And WHAT a story it is!!! I thought I couldn't love Liam and Lee any more than I did after Consolation, but I was sooooo wrong!!! This book is so suspenseful, I found myself sitting on the edge of the couch (or bed, or seat on the bus) as I read this intense, gripping conclusion to one of the best books I have ever had the pleasure to read!!! I found myself trying to slow down as the story progressed, because I didn't want it to end! Do yourself a huge favor and get these books!!! You will never read better!!
  • A perfect ending!

Spoiler free review! I don't think in all of my years as a reader have I ever NEEDED a second book to be released as much as I needed Conviction. Consolation's ending stayed with me for weeks. I often found myself thinking "how will Corinne Michaels ever resolve the feelings and emotions I was left with when those final words were spoken in Consolation?" Well...let me tell you. I was lucky enough to receive an advance copy of this book and it did not disappoint. I always knew Natalie was a strong heroine. The way she survived the devastating reality of being a seal wife in Consolation with grace. The way she pulled herself back from the brink because she had to for her daughter and the way she loved Liam was nothing short of spectacular. I had no way of knowing how this book would play out and the fact that I still kept coming back to Consolation and worrying and wondering spoke volumes for this spectacular author and the characters I had grown to love. This was an amazing conclusion to Natalie's story. Corinne Michaels did it again! I will forever love Liam!!!
