A very good read. I can believe that when it was written it would have brought all the fears of the unliving to the readers of Victoian times. Now to watch the movie!!!

A fabulous classic! I could not put it down. So much more detail to the powers of a vampire as well as the limitations. The writing flows. Bram Stoker was a master.

Recommended reading for anyone who wishes to discover the original source of the current vampire craze. As with most "period" writing, it is a real eye-opener to see how social mores change over a hundred years or so . . .

At first it took my full attention. Midway, the course of the story seemed endless. But when continued, the storyline exceeded my expectations by far. A great read!
